1) Tell us something about yourself that your fans may not know.
A: Well first off, I am a big fan of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It’s one of the best cartoons ever made and I wish I had all of the toys that I had as a kid because they would be worth some good money. My favorite turtle is Michelangelo; that’s the man. Even the movie was cool. My favorite movie was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze. Vanilla Ice had some cool songs in the movie as well...go ninja go!!!!
2) How did you get into producing music?
A: I remember saving some money working at this country club. I'd save up to buy this program called Reasons. I think it was like $600 dollars at the time which was a lot for a high school kid to be buying. It took me forever to learn at first but I got the hang of it and I made some sick stuff with that program. After falling in love with producing, there was a studio that was down the street from me called Beat Street where I use to go with my buddy Edwin J Morales aka Real Deal. He owned it with his dad Flaco Real. He taught me a lot about music. Those were the good old days - he still gives me the inspiration till this day to win. R.I.P Real Deal, R.I.P Flaco you guys will always be missed.
3) Who are some artists who have influenced your music style?
A: David Bowie, Prince, and Robert Plant from Led Zeppelin. I’m a really big fan of those guys.
4) Describe your style in 3 words.
A: Romantic, Mysterious, Expensive.
5) If you could only have 1 feature for the rest of your career, who would it be?
A: I would love to do a track with The Police. They were an awesome band and their music always puts me in the zone. It’s definitely a vibe; I loved how they mixed classic rock and added some smooth jazzy reggae vibes to their sound. What a wonderful combination. I wish there were more bands like that nowadays. So if that was the only track I had for a feature for my whole entire music career I would take it. S/O to Sting.
6) You recently released your single 'Funky Vibe.' How did you come up with the idea for this song?
A: I was hanging out in the studio just fooling around one night. It was just one of those perfect nights were all the elements match up at the perfect time. It was amazing - I remember when I made it. I played the synth over and over and over. It definitely gave the track an old school feel. Definitely a cool one so make sure to check it out.
7) What do you have planned for 2020?
A: I’m going to be releasing an Ep called Supernatural on Valentine’s Day. I’ve been working on this Ep for a while. Definitely a cool chill EP so make sure to check it out. And add it to your playlist. I always wanted to make a short film so we’re going to be writing a script called Supernatural. We’re not too sure how we’re going to do it at this point but we're definitely going to create some quality stuff. Also, I will be working on an album this year with many cool collaborations. And I'll release tons of new music videos. Definitely going to be a busy year for me.
8) When can fans expect your next single?
A: The next single is going to be off the EP. That will be dropping this Valentine’s Day. The song is called Silver Train. It's a track me and Nicole Ranalli aka Lakookala have been working on. I’m also working on a video for it as well.
